Do I need to buy high authority Domains to get #1 Ranking in Google

Hi Guys,

I've been running a Blog for some years now and struggle to get decent first page rankings in Google for posts. Potentially I should be getting 1000's of visits per day - in reality I'm struggling to get 100 per day. On-page SEO is good and even building back links good - but not good enough. Problem is that my Blog is in a niche where I am up against sites with top DA authority 40+. I use Long Tail Pro to find long tail keywords but no luck.

With this in mind, I did read an article that stated that buying Domains with high authority could be the answer. Do you think this is right and if so where do you recommend buying them from?

    High DA only will not help your website to be ranked in higher position. Besides that, there are so many factors such as PR, link building,on page SEO, off page SEO like this so many are available.so,please try to read the basic SEO for beginners which will be helpful for you to learn about how to make oyur website to be ranked in the first page of search engine ranking.

      I think that if you have a private blog network it will increase your rankings in Google, but the cost could be very high.

      What is interesting is I recently saw a number of high earning sites for sale where the seller was also including in the sale the private blog network which suggests to me that the seller probably concluded that the site's ranking was dependent on the continued existence of the PBN.
