  • Always keep in mind that the title of any article in the WordPress is in H1 tag. After that title and in the content, when you will find another H tag then that should be H2 tag.

Not necessarily. That depends on how the theme was built.

To OP, as long as you've got only one h1, and it's relevant to the page, it doesn't matter how it got to the page.

Basically just the title is good enough, aka is H1.

next if add h2 and h3 inside the content at least will boast the content? Of course provided the content is unique.

Still up to your old tricks?

How on earth you got 109 thanks in craps posts like this just
shows how other people really are succeeding. Or not.

h1 has nothing to do with title. It's size of the heading.

It should be the most important "heading" on your page.

If you think that's the title, so be it. It does not have to be.

Many people put other things there, title using something else.
Like even the smaller h2. Or h3.

If you title is very long, then h1 might not even make sense
          on a mobile site.

And that's the key. It's what makes sense on your site.

Take a gander at this WF thread. No h1.
(Some of you now have your fingers in your mouths.)

Many people blindly put their chosen title in h1, and can't
figure out why google thinks the page is about what they are not
really going for. Every word gets emphasized as being most
important. Even more important than words in the article.

Be very careful what you bold, put in h1, strong, etc.

If anyone actually cared to learn html and creating websites, they
would actually know what headings were designed to do.

Some SEO clown who lives in cave and has many blind followers,
once said some crap about h1. Then people parrot it like Polly,
          thinking it's some magical item.

Go out and learn what h1 has invented for, used for, and what it actually
          does.

You can actually have more than one on a page...sure...most of you
are rolling your eyes and fainting at that one. Oh the horror!

Devilfish, you and your followers rock!

If you use WordPress' title field, and it populates both h1 heading and the title tag, and you're satisfied with that - it's all good. I might consider having different texts in them.

Yes, you should use h2 after the first heading, but don't expect it to work wonders.

They've got the title set. But this is a good point: h1 is only a part of the document structure. It's one of the stronger factors, but not the only one.
