  • As expert says, Google has now stopped updating Google Page rank toolbar so I would must recommend you to stop concentrating on Google PR and try to focus on content instead of that.

PageRank is not 100% accurate but is a good indication to how well a site is. A PR6 site can be PR6 one day and PR2 the next day but still, it's not bad to use it.

PageRank is influenced by a lot of factors such as how fresh your website is, how often it gets updated, how good your site looks, how trustworthy is your site, how many high quality sites are linking to your site. Don't be too obssessed with PageRank though. Use PageRank add on or SEOQuake add on. Both will give you the PageRank of your webpage from Google. Focus on your site and make sure your site gives your visitors a good experience. Look at both on-page and off-page aspects. A "good experience" means your site loads fast, has great content, has a lot of good quality sites directing to it, etc. Imagine 2 politicians. One of them is getting bashed heavily by the community and is dressed ok and the other receives good praise from the community and is very well dressed and acts proper. Which politician would you trust and rely on? That's how Google views your website.

Damn sure isn't 100% accurate. It's almost two years since the last update to the publicly visible PageRank score.

None of this is true. And these aren't even really ranking factors.

This is what PageRank is all about. Well, except that it's not just "high quality" sites, but all links.

That's a fairly bad analogy. If community "bashes" a site, and links to it, that may actually increase the visibility. Much of SEO is fooling Google by acting all proper, and trying to look like you've got a lot of support when your only friends are bots and spun content.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

Yes, Google have paused the Google PR services and I'll also mention the same
Just go for Organic traffic and keep the PR part aside.

It seems that you are outdated from Google's official announcement back then that they are not interested to update page ranking. Instead take time to focus into your audience provide what they need and expectations.

First of all Page Rank is almost dead, because there is no any updates for Page Rank from last 2 years. If you want to increase you page rank then you have to create do-follow high PR backlinks to increase your page rank.

As you all know that Google has stopped updating the Page Rank but we really can't judge the behaviour so, You need traffic, quality backlinks for your blog or website to increase page rank. Keep commenting on other people blogs and website and wait for google to see if they update.
