Having trouble getting ranked...

Having some trouble getting a website of mine ranking well..... Sitting on page 7 or so for the main keyword im going after... Its in the real estate niche, anyone got any good ideas? I've been plugging away for months now at this....

Anyone know of a good way to get ranked for a national real estate term? Where to build solid real estate links etc.... any tips appreciated...

How competitive is the keyword? Is it a single word keyword? Sometimes going after a multiple word keyword / keyword string is easier because there is less competition.

I checked your backlink profile and it looks very spammy.

A lot of your backlinks might be hurting rather than helping. I think you would find your rankings improve if you cleaned up your backlink profile.
