Is It Good to Create Subdomains to Post Blogs on Web 2.0 Sites?

I just wondered that is it good or bad to use subdomains for posting blogs on web 2.0 sites like below.

https://www.tumblr.com/

Now I've to create subdomain to submit posts like:

https://www.companyname.tumblr.com/

Now you got my point. So, Is it good to post blogs like this or it hurts our site reputation?

  • Whether it hurts your reputation depends on what content you create on the subdomains not on whether you use subdomain.

    If you use tumbler, there's no way you're not going to get a subdomain.
