You need to be a bit more specific. Do you have the site in some state right now, like a pile of static HTML files or DB dumps? Do you want to use a CMS for it, and if yes do you have any preferences?

I've built some WP sites from static HTML, but it tends to be less straightforward than one would hope.

patadeperro's suggestion isn't bad if you've completely lost the site for some reason.

I think the OP is looking for a plugin where you input the old domain name, your new domain name and the plugin will go find all the content on the old domain and transfer it to the new domain.

Duplicate a deceased domain without doing hard work.

OP, if that's true, and if such thing would be possible, you'd be running the risk of copyright infringement... Sometimes the owners of expired sites care and have the means and knowledge to do something about it.

Even if they do not, do you really just want to copy?

      Hello guys,

I opened this post not to discute the effectiveness of PBN or how to build a PBN, ok? There´s thousands of topics in warrior forum about it.

By the way, certainly I´m not a noob with PBNs, I started to work with them more than 1 year ago.

As DABK said, I look for a plugin that recover some pages from the old site on that new platform without having to do anything manually. My intention is recover the DA and the PA of some pages, take old articles and put new articles related. Months ago I read about it, but I do not remember where.

And about the copyrights, thats true, I had not thought about it. But I think that if the site was expired and the content is not in another website, and will simply deindexed, I can do a detailed research to look for another records in the internet about the owner and the probability (with very very error) of him reuse the content. I think continue the site can be a good option.

That 's exactly my intention. Actually I work with Wordpress and Drupal, but Joomla is another option, how did you build these WP sites?

You said you are not noob to the issue and your first reply to me is about what does https://archive.org/web/ has to do with rebuilding a website? you seem pretty noob to me not knowing that archive.org saves several versions of your website and then you can download at least some of it and re create the structure from there (specially if you are able to find the sitemap)

use this command line to do it:

        wget -r -H -nc -np -nH --cut-dirs=1 -R .tar,.zip -e robots=off -l1 http://web.archive.org/web/(date of the record with the format yyyymmdd)/http://theurlyouareinterested.com

This will download the saved version archive.org has of the site you are looking for in that exact date.

I just use archive.org as part of the process to define if the site was used in the past as PBN, spam purpose etc.

As you didnt explain your answer before, I taught that you cited archive.org just to I see some saved pages of the old site.

Is not clear to me where I have to use the command that you told me. Can you explain?

But even doing that, I have a problem, the old site could be built in HTML, JAVA etc. There´s a way to convert this file (saving the content and part of the design) to a CMS site?

If you are working on event blogging or short time period then pbn is best for rank fast because google consider it black hat trick but if you want your website stable longtime then not use pbn strategy. because in 2013 google announce pbn strategies also penalize.

I don't have any inside knowledge about Google's attitude toward PBN, but if you are interested in exploring this in greater depth I would recommend checking out source-wave dot com. A lot of free videos about SEO and PBNs and they are very newbie friendly. There's also a membership club if you are interested.

    Good luck

The plugin I used previously with WP is probably this one. It's far from perfect, but may make the process much faster. You can export a partial site by just taking the pages you want, and putting them in a directory for that tool to crunch. If the articles don't come through right, just delete them and keep tweaking the settings.

Note: if you've only got a maximum of two dozen or so articles to import I'd not go with an automated tool. It's easier to just copy and paste at that point.

There's also quite a lot of "auto poster" style tools that may help. I've tried WP Autopost, but wasn't entirely satisfied with it. Unfortunately can't seem to find the another I used.
