I might ask my friends or some random bloggers, but that'd depend on the site being a good one. If you're talking about the one in your sig... Well, I'd probably just cut corners and try to purchase some decent links. It doesn't seem very likely that a site owner would like to link to that.

As a side note, you're not the first user to have an article about "high quality backlinks" that just highlights your lack of understanding about the topic. It's always a bit depressing to see another one of those.

Yea you can get Quality dofollow backlinks from social network, nettiapina there are some sites getting a good Dofollow Backlinks From social network even wikipedia, i will urge the poster to try and participate on forum sites, try to. Comment on blog and drop ur links also try to read backlinko.com the guy is really helpful producing good backlinks try to submit guest posts too.

Don't try to build backlinks on worthless websites.
Use your competition websites to discover where their traffic come.
You can Alexa.com to spy your competion websites traffic or you can use a simple Google query to discover your competitor backlinks like:
links:mycompetitor.com

intext:"mycompetitor.com"

In my opinion, the Easiest, Quickest and Best way to get backlinks is to Buy them from webmasters that own domains that have PR1 - PR9.

You can find them on Fiverr or SeoClerks.

It will cost you $5 for a Backlink or two.

This is very often a fraud or dishonest marketing tactic. Domains don't have PR, and that's the first clue. You're very seldom getting your link on that powerful front page, but on a new page that soon gets buried. Even if you are getting to the front, there's probably dozens of links on that page already. Not to mention that PR scores are from late 2013, and it is/was possible to fake PR...

If you're paying "$5 for a backlink or two" you can't except quality. Real equivalent of PR7 might go for $xxx.

A good backlink will come only from a relevant niche site.
If you are on a travel niche site then look for blog and forum communities that are also in travel niche site. Whether you'll get a nofollow or dofollow as long as it is high quality, reputable, relevant site it will still count as a good link; Google will still see it as a good link or a good signal.
