I just got off a thread below about link wheels so I wanted to make an official thread for sharing a new PDF guide I did that helps explain the link wheel concept.

No Opt In - Your Thanks is all I need.

  • I have gone through your linkwheel. Its just a normal linkweel. However, i did similar linkwheel but a more complicated one. But yes, its good if properly done.

    • yes it`s better to link the blogs randomally so it will look more natural to the serp
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • will check that out
  • Thanks for the diagram, great work.

    • Thanks for the info that explains it all...now..if I could just automate it all...=)

  • Will check this out later but gave you a thanks simply for sharing.

    Hopefully its a good link wheel

    Tom Brite

    Edit: Had a quick read over it and all seems to be good. Is a sales pitch ebook and i doubt its your but probably found somewhere where they were giving it away for free. But still good information.

    • Actually I write it from scratch as a quick and easy method to explain the linkwheel.net service. (100% original)
    • When I saw this thread, I had to take a look at the report. Like Tom I don't believe this is the original work of the OP, either.

      Months ago a very smart kid named Linus Rylander --a.k.a Lemonarian, created a report that he gives away on his blog called 'LinkWheel Explained'. Unlike the OP, Lemonarian isn't trying to sell you a linkwheel building service. He shows you the strategy and how to do it yourself.

      Here are the relevant links to his blog:

      Linkwheel Explained
      The LinkWheel FAQ
      Easy traffic, the lemonarian way.

      The basic linkwheel is a 6 spoke structure with a money page/landing page as the hub or center. It isn't hard to set up. Unless you want an advanced network for backlinking purposes, you don't need to pay anyone to create a basic linkwheel for you. Just get Linus' free report and apply it.

      I hope this helps those of you who are interested in using this method.
      • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • Nice info, Link Wheels are all the rage at the moment. For those who struggle just get started and you will be away

    Stop reading how and start doing now !

  • i always confused by the link wheel and link farm
    I gonna check that out
  • i will chech it out.

    thanks for the link of linkwheel.....
  • gonna download , i guess it won't cause me problem

    • Building link wheels with your own domains works really well.

      Be carefull with using Web 2.0 sites. They've been flooded with people building link wheels and not adding great sites - only building sites for link purposes are against their terms.

      I had my i.p banned from 2 of them already. Watch out for Vox.com and Blog.co.uk = they will ban you and when they do your wheel is 'broken'

      I suppose the bad thing about the wheel is that it relies on all the sites in the wheel to get indexed and for the links to get picked up and passed on. I am now using a modified version to make sure that it plugs potential holes.

      Like all things that become "the rage" in IM it gets abused really quickly. Automated links wheels smell like trouble to me.

  • it's a nice share i m using paul links hope ll get max benefit
  • link wheels rock! i use them to rank for almost any keyword that i want to dominate... use wisely and get creative with linkwheel onto link wheel (think about it)
  • Wow, way to rip off my work. Doesn't really surprise me that someone would do this either... ah, gotta love the industry.

    Thanks XRay.

    If anyone cares to know, I coined the term "linkwheel" and started this whole craze.
    The OP doesn't have any right to do this, but I can't exactly stop him either.
    • [1] reply
    • No, people don't care who started the "craze", plus if I am not mistaken Howie did.

      Bro, like I told you in the email you sent to me threatening legal action . . . Howie is just as responsible for the term as you are.

      Plus if you can cite 1 example where any text was copied? . . . It looks more like an attempt on your part to grab notoriety than anything else.

      I told you in the email that if anything had been copied that we would gladly remove the material. . . . Alas nothing has been copied.
  • Just letting you know.

    Howie Shwartz had a report months ago and it contained this linking strategy.

    I don't think anyone "created" this thing...

  • Link wheels have been around for ages, they were simply more expensive to create before... its just common sense...

  • Take sometime to read it, very insightful.

    I have always regarded it as a balckhat, now I know it is not!
  • Thank you for sharing. Just download your guide on link wheels
  • @mejohn - Truth is you can build a link wheel with any kind of sites.

    @oleic23 - your welcome.

    @AggieMom - Go UT . . . glad you liked it.

    @steveniam - your welcome . . .
  • i think michael campbell with his work on mini-nets is one of the original designers of this concept. the concept is really just controlling the linking network and strategically passing it to your money sites. just because you gave it a name does not make you the creator of anything (lemonarian).
    • [1] reply
    • The Link Wheel concept was basically described in 'Revenge of The Mininets' by Michael Campbell some years ago. It's now available as a free download from his website. However, he wasn't using Web 2 websites as satellites.

      The satellites linking to the hub or mother site were other websites owned by owner of the hub site.

  • Reading through the ebook now and enjoying it. Thanks a lot....this will help me to understand what this Linkwheel craze is all about.

    • @metafever: I recently saw your WSO & took a look at your site. Looks like you really know your stuff and provide an excellent link wheel building service.

      I apologize for my previous comment about you copying Lemonarian's work. I was just trying to support a fellow IM'er that I know through his blog/forum posts/reports. If my comment rubbed you the wrong way, please accept my apology.

      FYI for members looking to implement the linkwheel strategy: (1) the basic 6 spoke (closed) linkwheel isn't effective for all niches. Depending on the competitiveness of the niche & the SEO competition you're up against, you may need more web 2.0 properties and a more advanced linking structure that isn't closed. (2) you will get better results using unique content in each of your spokes.
  • Heard so much about link wheel. I really wanna try it but the thing is i don't know how.
  • @curtroese - Well said mate! I can tell you for sure that we didn't invent it . . . we are just the best at doing it the right way on a massive scale.

    @vicone - Good point!

    @menj - Your welcome . . . PM me if you have any questions.

    @XRay - Thanks, but not nessesary . . . The internet was made for sharp elbows and I assure you my skin is ultra thick (been doing this a while).

    @paullive1986 - Well . . get to work reading and educate yourself.

    @ShopZipCode - Same to you, . . . get to reading!
  • props for sharing - we use a similar wheel.
  • Is there anyone here who is actually experiencing any success with linkwheels? I'm a bit aprehencsive of getting my sites banned which I have worked so hard for.

    Some say its black hat, Id like to think not. When you say, 'broken' link wheel, does anyone have examples of how to do this please? Just need some reassurance thats all!

    Thanks
  • @ppcpimp - thanks mate

    @nettech - depending on your comfort level, you could just set up a ton of web 2.0 properties and drive 1 way links.

  • It does make sense to organize your links like this because it helps to increase the PR of your network in an organized way, I mean by using this link structure you know which of your web 2.0 properties will have the high PR. And if you know this, you can then focus on placing your links to your money sites on those properties in priority.
  • I have been hearing a lot about these recently, and this guide does get the basics covered on how to get one started. Thanks for sharing!

  • A good share for the era but linkwheels are less effective as they are not random enough and the search engines are seeing that... people may want to take a look at Link Pushing Rise to the top of the SERPS to see the next generation linking process for effective search engine rankings.
  • The ebook describes only about the basic concept of link wheel,still then it's a good one.I'll have to search for more information about link wheel from other sources.
  • Forgive my ignorance but i still don´t get it why link wheels are so great(SEO noob here). I have downloaded the reports on this thread and read them but still don´t understand why everyone says that they are powerful to SEO. Since my english isn´t great i have some problems explaining by words what i don´t understand, so i attched 2 pictures to help me explain.

    Picture 1 is not a link whel while picture 2 is a link wheel. I putted number on each link power. If a page has one link on it, then the power that passes is the value of 10. If a page has 2 links(like a link wheel) then the power is divided by both of them(each link has the power of 5). (Just an example)

    So in picture one we got 5 web2.0 pages that have only one link in each. This means that i got 5*10 link power = 50 link power.

    On picture 2 i have 2 links in each 2.0 page. This means that each link has the value of 5. For each web2.0 page i get 5(direct link to my site)+5(link from the link wheel). This would give me a total of 10 link power per web2.0 page, giving a total of 50 link power.

    This is what confuses me. In my head, with or without link wheel, the link power is the same. I would be very grateful if anyone could explain this to me.

    Thank you very much

    • When the sites are connected, the link juice is amplified... the problem is that Google and the other search engines are seeing that this is not a natural formation of links and hence a scheme to trick them and no longer give them the same amount of power as they used to give them.
      • [1] reply
  • will check that out
