Get Site Indexed in 24 Hours

Hi everyone,

I'm new to posting to the forum (been reading for months) and thought I'd share a trick I've been using for quite awhile. Just recently (this week), I used this strategy on two sites to get my websites indexed by Google very quickly (within 24 hours).

disclaimer: just to be clear, I'm saying Google indexed my website...not ranked it on the first page. I should be able to get ranked within about 1 week (done it before using this strategy), but I'll have to let you know how that goes in the next few days as the sites make progress.

Let's get started....

(1) create my website
I used wordpress to create my website, did proper onsite SEO (meta, headers, titles, etc...the basic stuff), added a blog with a single post and scheduled future posts for once a week, and did some minor modifications to the wordpress theme (added footer menu, etc.).

You could get away with just a basic site as long as it was onsite-seo'd to the keyword you're targeting.

(2) submit to google webmaster tools
Once the website is finished, create your google webmaster tools account, submit your sitemap, etc. Google around for "google webmaster tools on wordpress" for simple instructions on this...i can't post URL links on my posts yet in warrior forum since I'm new here

(3) create 3-4 articles with backlinks
Submit 2 articles to articlealley.com and 2 articles to goarticles.com. Make sure these articles contain an anchor text link with your targetted keyword that leads back to your website.

(4) ping away
Use pingoat.com or pingomatic.com to ping your website and all of your articles. I only pinged each of these once.

(5) check if your indexed
After about 12 hours, check if you're indexed by going to google and typing in the search box "www(dot)yourwebsiteaddress(dot)com". If indexed, you'll see your website listed.

*replace the "dot" with . above....again, I can't post links to warriorforum yet = (

I wasn't sure if this is going to be a huge help to anyone, but I figured someone out there was waiting days to get indexed. Plus, I've never posted a new thread to the warriorforum, so I thought now would be a good time = )

by the way, There is a great post about "linkwheels" that may work effectively to get ranked quickly and dominate the competition that could work well once your site is indexed...I'll let you know how that goes after I've given it a try tomorrow.

  • Hi,

You might want to try ping.fm. Just sign up for free and post details of your articles to top 7 sites all pr6 and above. You can include back links. Have used this to get page 1 Google within 14 days.

    • Does the ping tactic really work, or is it the Google Webmaster account that is expediting the indexing?

    • This sound an interesting strategy. I wouldn't mind trying it out.
  • Yeah - good tips.

However, you should be able to get it done in 20 to 30 mins.

I tried it and it worked for me.

I wrote about it on my blog. Link below.

How To Get Indexed at Record Speed - FAST!

Also, How about getting a new domain indexed?

This is a different ball game. Takes about 1 - 2 weeks, although some people have had it done in 24 hours.

    • This was a new domain. It was registered, website put up, and indexed within about 72 hours

    • Also, don't just backlink. Make sure you backlink with anchor text on HIGH PR sites. It's better to link 5 high PR sites than 50 low PR sites. This strategy will save you heaps of time too.

***TIP- first place you should put a link on is your google profile page. Don't have one? Get gmail for free, and once registered, create your google profile page and put a link to your new site on it. Google is a PR of 10 !!! HINT HINT
  • thanks for all this info. going to try some of it out during the coming days.
  • thanks for the info, plain explanation.
  • Yups nice info, Thanks man, I used to follow submitting articles + mixx.com + digg.com
  • Good info I will try it! Thanks!
  • I'm normally submitting it to worthbot.com and then to social sites like returnweb.com and it gets indexed in 1-8 hours in average. Best I've seen was 30 minutes.

    • I think Google's bot behave differently from time to time.

Sometime i can get indexed within hours but in another time i need two days to get indexed (with the same method used).
  • This sounds real good. I am just learning what are available in the way of WP Plugins -- in a word amazing.

I am curious about the mention of scheduling post in Wordpress. Which scheduler do you like?

  • If you are going to hang around in this business. It gets pretty easy to get indexed. You just drop the URL of your site on one of your sites that is already crawled frequently. Actually any site that is frequently crawled and will allow you to post a link is fine. It ultimately doesn't matter though. Because a quick index doesn't equate a quick ranking in and of itself. But at some point you need to be found so better now than later. People worry too much about immediate this and that. Money is made in the long haul. Build your plan and stick to it.
  • Great !! Content. Plus Submit to Social Bookmarks For Fast Indexed.

    • Yep.. Social bookmarking sites like digg, propeller, etc.. are the greatest resources to get your sites and pages indexed faster. Sometimes it just takes couple of hours to get your pages indexed.
  • usefull post, thanks for sharing
  • Blogs can be indexed quickly by simply pinging them.

Some blogs are set up to automatically ping blog engines but if you like you can do it manually by going to Pingomatic.com and adding your blog and Rss feed url.

Pinging is a way of notifying blog engines that your blog has been updated. They would usually come crawl your blog so that they could update their indexes. The bigger search engines like Google usually hang around the blog engines because their content is updated very regularly and would in turn crawl your blog if its in their index.

    • I use isubmit.com It,s free for first 30 days and you get pinged to over 300 search bots.

I,ve seen crazy numbers of bot visits per day without new content added.

My latest blog has one article with keyword optimized.

Within 2 weeks of site going live, Alexa has started it at 12,638,015 to now 6,216,018.

      No backlinking or promotion.

If you were into flipping sites this would be great to jump up the numbers o f visitors and increase Alexa score.

  • How I do it, and have been indexed in under 6 hours before as well (use google alerts to find out when Google finds it).

Use wordpress, seo all in one pack and make sure you use tags as well.

Create a blogger blog and post a similar subject post and link to your new wordpress installation.

    Ping them both.

Submit them both to Digg, Mixx, stumpleupon. reddit.

    Done.
  • I have always used digg to get my site indexed within 1 hour !
  • This thread is brilliant.
