indexing images with Google

Is there a way that I can manually submit images for Google to fetch and index?

I'd like to get this image indexed as a priority rather than waiting for the bots to crawl the page its on. It's hosted on a CDN (Cloudfront) that we own, so it is not actually on our domain:

I've tried submitting this URL in webmaster tools but doesn't seem to get the image indexed in Google Images:
Clyde Barrow | The Imagine Film List

Thanks in advance for the help.

    • Thanks for pointing that out. I guess it got filed away in Google's "underworld" of unranked content.

My next question, then, is why this image of Bonnie Parker has ranked in the top 5 results for the keyword "Bonnie Parker" for several months? It comes from a nearly identical page of our site and does not have any backlinks pointing to it. Both are face-front portraits, similar size. We did not promote either the Bonnie Parker page or the Clyde Barrow page, and I don't believe the keyword "Bonnie Parker" is less competitive than "Clyde Barrow" either.

Found on: Bonnie Parker | The Imagine Film List

I appreciate any insight you could provide!
