Posting my videos as blog posts with same descritpion

Hi,
I wanted to embed my YouTube videos in my blog as blog posts.
My question is:
I assume simply embedding the video without any content in blog post is not effective and some content has to go along with the embed of video.
If I use the description of videos as the content of my blog post, will google see it as duplicate content and raise a flag for my YouTube channel or blog?

    Add some content to your blog post with the video because it will help your rankings. Also not all blog visitors want to watch videos alot want to read content.

    As humans we have 3 learning styles so to attract & keep a larger audience doing video & written content are key.
