Hiding PBN's from Majestic, Ahrefs & MozOSE ?

Hey everyone,

I want to hide my network from Majestic, Ahrefs and Moz OSE. I was doing research and i have recently found a free wordpress plugin called Link Privacy (Link Privacy: Protect Your Network).

But I'm confused about how to make it work. Do I have to install this plugin on every single site in my network or just on my money site ?

I have it currently installed on my money site but not on my link network sites. Also, if I check on majestic, it still shows my pbns

How long does it usually takes for pbn's to stop showing up in majestic after hiding it ?

You have to install it on all of your PBN blogs.
You can also use htaccess file to block spiders.

  I would not use the htacess, if you dont know what you are doing you can make more harm than good, just modify the robots.txt like this:
  
  user-agent: AhrefsBot
  user-agent: MJ12bot
  disallow: /
  
  Those are the crawling bots for majestic and moz, you are telling them that they are not allowed to crawl your site.

htaccess blocks all the bots except Majestic so use a robots.txt and that blocke Majestic.

Using the robot.txt file is not going to do anything as bots can and do ignore it. Blocking them via your .htaccess file is another thing altogether as they will be completely blocked from your site and is just as easy to do as you can edit your .htaccess file with notepad, no plugin needed. There are loads of tutorials on blocking bots via .htaccess
