Moving from a ctld to a gtld

Hey, I run a travel business in portugal that is oriented for tourists that live in the us, uk and Northern Europe.

When I created my website, I registered a .pt domain, from portugal, making it geotargeted for portugal, which was a mistake.

Last month, I adquired a .com domain, as my target audience is worldwide, and moved the domain on Google webmaster tools and did the 301 redirects and set the geo preference for the new domain on Google to unlisted.

However, on ahrefs, my website's ctld is still portugal!!

Do you have any idea why is this so? Does my previous site transfer it's geo targeting to my new one? And if so, how could I "turn that off"?

Thanks for your help...

Can you verify this from some other tool or route? It's possible that Ahrefs just hasn't updated that part of their data.
