I need SEO help, what am I doing wrong?

I own mobilehomesforsale.com

I am trying to get ranked for "mobile homes for sale".... as well as hundreds of other variations... I have 50 state pages with unique content, going for "mobile homes for sale in (state)".... I even have 20,000+ city pages going for "mobile homes for sale in (city) (state)" .....

I am having trouble even getting ranked for the little city keywords... I am looking for pro advice, help, etc... I'm even willing to hire a full blown seo professional at this point...

Any advice would be very helpful as to why my site is lacking getting to the top...

    You have a big Google map, a small image of a property for sale in Utah, a title that's right.

    You have not earned the right to be shown at the top of mobile homes for sale in albers.

    Same for Morton Grove.

    You're really bad at SEO, if you think you've done SEO. Or, you didn't do SEO.

      You have to lead with exceptional content + good on page optimization + off page optimization to rank to the top of Google and other search engines.

      Do some research on these terms if you don't know what they mean.

      When I say lead with exceptional content - I mean focusing on writing blog posts that are minimum 500 words but ideally, 800-1000+ words.

      Write for the readers of your blog, not for the search engines.
      If you have a crap blog post, people won't read it, they will leave your site fast, and Google will see this as a sign that your site isn't deserving to be on page 1.


      On-page optimization ensures that Google is ranking your site for the appropriate keyword.
      Use a plugin called Yoast SEO to help optimize your on-page.

      You want to include the keyword in the title, headers, body content, permalink (URL), image tags, meta description.

      Off-page optimization is how many backlinks are pointing to your site. In other words, how many other websites are linking back to your site (aka recommending you).

      Backlinks are like popularity votes. The more you have, the more Google perceives you as deserving of page 1.

    Your site needs lot of changes. You should start from doing keyword research (again), next on-page optimization and apply the latest keywords. Add blog (if you don't have one), post relevant content regularly. Create social media profiles: share & interact regularly. Submit to listings (business / directory / citations). Participate on blogs and forums. Guest post to related niche.

    I would say a page optimization job is not so easy. You can try hard to do it but nothing much you will get on seo result. In your case I would prefer make a good content blog on wordpress or blogspot and let their script do the seo for you. So you can concentrate to build the backlink.

    Just remember that quality backlink will be your priority. A huge backlink on non related sites will not help much. Even your page can be penalized if you are not carefully manage them. The worst thing is that you may purchase a backlink job to someone just to make your page is dead on seo.

    You are not done with the SEO and you do not need a pro advise, you need the to know the basics of SEO first.
    You have to check out the audience and when you come to know the likes and dislikes,
    then you have to create the content according to it.
    You are lacking the content there on your blog.
    You ought to write unique articles and blog posts.

    You can't play google anymore.
    Matt Cutts says you should focus on good content and marketing that content never try to manipulate search results.

    These are all good feedbacks.

    Here's what I have so far....
    300+ city pages 400+ word of content (working my way up to all the cities, but theres 30,000 soo.... takes time)
    I have a blog that I try to write on once a week
    I have facebook accounts with 7,000+ likes
    twitter account
    google + account

    I try to optimize all my pages as best I can with proper tags, titles, etc...

    I think I need to work on my blog more..... but anything else other than just keep on keeping on and it will one day in 6 month - a year get there?
