How can i promote my website when search queries are very low for keywords ?

should i change my keywords and start working on high traffic keywords which are less related to my business?

  • A bunch of keywords with low searches will bring some 30% of those searches to you if you're #1 + a bunch of other visitors through keywords you have not even dreamt of, keywords that Google says have 0 searches.

    You probably will get as many visitors via keywords you never thought of ranking for as you will from the ones you're going after.

    Going after keywords that are not related will increase the number of visitors without necessarily increasing sales.


  • Changing Keywords is a big mistake that i did in earlier. It will affect on your search engine ranking, it might lose your potential visitors.
  • => In most cases keywords contain city names have less search volume, but dont worry about it. These traffics can lead maximum conversion rate.

    => Focus on a list of closely related keywords (5-10). The sum of all these keywords search volume can provide you a good amount of traffic.

    => Focus on LSI keywords and find more ranking opportunities.

    => Can also focus on Social Media. And day by day with the grow of your authority you can always target more keywords to increase traffic

    Note: Getting sales is most important than having lots of non relevant traffic
  • Some of my keyword phrases have about 150 searches a month.I've naturally had very little issues ranking the page as there isn't a great deal of competition.

    The page still gets sales and sign ups. In fact on the site there are between 50 and 70 pages that have search volumes under 200 pm but that adds up and because they are targeted its all good.
  • Don't change anything. Add on new keywords with additional pages.

    • Ok i am not going to change my keywords . i will add some more keywords but i am still not sure how to increase ranking of keywords / organic traffic.
  • Yup add new page with your other keywords and start quality off-page optimization.

    Dont try to change your keywords if they are selected by seo tools. Make sure they are long tail keywords and try to bring them on ranking with the help of SEO &SMO techniques.
    SEO is the best way to build quality backlinks and to promote your site on SERP in google.

  • No need to change your existing keywords you need to create new pages for your new keywords for SEO.
