XML Sitemap - is this enough?

Hey Warriors,

A quick sitemap question: is it sufficient to have an XML Sitemap (I have one generated via the Yoast SEO plugin in Wordpress) or do I also need to setup a specific page in Wordpress to have a public sitemap link? Is there an advantage to this?

Joel XML Sitemap is all you'll need.

No, all you need is to have a valid sitemap to be submitted in Google Webmaster Tools.

XML site map for search engine bots and html site map for your users to navigate the web site.

Hi there!

XML will do, but building new page on wordpress will add up to your sites credential. What I mean is it can give you a plus.

Just make sure it is well optimized and it is following google's algorithm.
