Why Google is refusing to index my leading page?

I have a page on my website that I am marketing. I use it's direct url in my marketing strategy. web 2.0 profiles. Subdomains from blogger, myspace, webs, zoho etc.
I have already about 60 web 2.0 authority backlinks, half of them are already indexed, but not that specific page at my website.

At the search result about a week ago, I reached 7th page with my home page. Today I am at the third page, but not the requested page or even my homepage, but some other page that Google have picked up.

I recently red about the "WIDE SITE LINKS" and deleted the links to my specific page from other pages at my website.

This specific page have some really good exclusive content in it, very few links and some really nice fresh images too! Good on page SEO indeed!

It looks like google knows that this specific page is going to hit #1 result, if it is indexed, so it is not indexing it.

Wondering why this is happening, any thoughts would be hapily accepted.

Thanks

The page is probably indexed. Search for it in quotation marks, the part that comes after www. only.

Google doesn't know it would hit #1 unless it indexes it.

If it's not showing on page 1, it would be because the SEO is wrong (not enough or too much of something).

Google picks the page on your site that, according to Google, best matches the query.

Don't argue with Google, change to content and/or the links so that Google can think that pages best matches the query.

      Truth?

You don't have 60 web 2.0 authority backlinks.

I assume you mean site wide links...but I digress.
Internal links are golden, so I have no idea what you are even barking about.

Well at times this happens if your website is new and haven't been cached or indexed by Google so many times. This behaviour is also termed as Google Dance which describes as - Google used to rebuild its rankings, and as a result of this rebuilding, rankings of Web sites on Google's SERP may fluctuate in order during a several day period.

Just keep focusing on your current URL which you are optimizing and it will be stabilized in few weeks.

To check which page is getting more more preference in Google search this query:
"Keyword" site:yourwebsite.com and see which position your targeted page is ranking.

to check caching use this - cache:yourwebsite.com

    Hello

I suppose you need to build more high quality content on your lead page and have your site highly optimized.

Choose high pr backlinks and don't overcrowd your site with a ton of low pr backlinks it does not help at all. High pr is what they prefer.

    Thanks

      This is stupid advice.

You have no idea what the PR is on any page on the internet right now, so how are you going to go after "high pr backlinks".

You shoot your High PR numbers at the internet with your hihg PR number gun. When it hits something, you pull the cord you tied to your High PR number bullet till it site is in your hand. Than you make a Gorden knot around your site and one at the site your High Pr bullet hit. And Voila Wala! You're ready to backlink.
