hello folks,

while running my guest posting campaign i face with same problem over and over again. when i reached people with email politely asking them for guest post opportunities in most cases i was getting same answers, there where people telling me that i need to pay for guest post or they will post my guest post or infographic if i also upload their infographic on my site.
So now i need your advice, is it a good practice or not - to add infographic on your site hoping that someone will do the same in return..

I would just pay them for the one-way link if the sites are worthwhile.

Yea, I wouldn't go loading your website with infographics or recipricol links.

If the links are worth it in your opinion (from a related website with high authority) then I would inquire about purchasing a few.

Guest posting doesn't need to be your one and only link building method though. It is great to get a few good guest post links while engaging in other less expensive but high quality link building strategies.

It will be a lot harder to convince 5 webmasters to post your spun article. If it were me, I'd say, 'no,' if it were one of my main sites, I'd charge you a lot more to post it on one of my other sites.

I don't think the blog or website owner would be very happy to post your spun article in their website. I suggest that you create unique article for guest post submission.

I don't like them. Spun content usually just feels wrong. Also, I don't see reason to do this. You're not fooling Google's semantic parsing. The articles just pass some kind of simple machine check.

Have you considered that perhaps quest posting isn't the right method for you? 400 words is a short article, and if you know something about a topic it should be really easy to write that much. Also, should not be that hard to "customize" the articles to better fit the site in question. If you feel that 400 words is hard it just might be too much to invest in a relatively weak backlink that sits on a new page.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

The first thing is that, if you want guest post from real quality sites then you should have a plan for it. You cant think about spun articles. Your article needs to be human written, and should also have enough value for their readers. Otherwise they will not accept it even they are charging. They might already have a good amount of traffic and authority. They will not do anything which might reduce their reputation.

You can give them reciprocal links or can promote their blog, if they have enough authority. Your decision might vary with blog to blog. if they are not worth enough then you can either avoid them or can simply pay them for one way link.

If you want links from average sites, you can try fiverr. In fiverr you will find lots of sites accept guest post and they charge only $5 / post.

Help me understand why you would go out of your way to waste another webmasters time for guest post & talk about spinning articles in the same forum thread.

    Where's the logic?

Just a guess, but if you are having a hard time writing 400 word articles, your site must be pretty weak and not worth linking too anyway... Just trying to be honest

That sounds just delusional. Maybe you should, you know, explain why it's a must?

Wouldn't that require some knowledge of guest-posting? Some thinking?

Netti, why do you ask so much of them?

Guest posting is very powerful in order to reach out the professionals of the world. Primarily guest posting needs a high quality content and precise info regarding any topic in which you are writing. If you want to do guest posting then you need to take the approval of the website owner and have to pay some money for it. It is very helpful to get huge traffic on your website by providing the people the precise info for what they are searching the internet.

Even you can allow others to do a guest post on your website which will help you to attract the people towards your website indirectly.

Forum-posting, on the other hand, requires you to read the question the original poster asks. Then read the posts that came before.

If you don't, you come across like someone who doesn't know what they're talking about, and that's not good for the link in your signature. Makes it look like a fool. And very lonely.
