906,261 Visits from Google In September... Only 6,000 from Other Search Engines... Any Ideas?

Last month one of my sites got over 900,000 visitors from Google.

But it only got 2,500 from Ask, 2,200 from Yahoo, 1,487 from AOL and 120 from Bing.

Since Bing and Yahoo's market share of search is around 10% each - I would expect those numbers to be significantly higher.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why my Bing/Yahoo traffic is so low and suggest any ways to improve this?

Thanks,
James

Do you track your rankings in each of these engines (or at least Google and Bing)? How do you rank in each of them?

    What's your excuse?

I track a lot of keywords but only in Google. I'm on the top page for dozens of keywords with 4 or 5 figure monthly search volume.

When I do look in Bing / Yahoo I'm nowhere to be seen for these keywords.

Sorry, let me re-phrase my question...

Does anyone know why my rankings with Bing and Yahoo are so bad considering my Google rankings are so good?

That's a good question, but it's really hard to answer without any more clues. Sometimes Bing seems to do just this. They're several years behind Google in almost anything you can think of.

See what ranks on Bing, and see if there's a common denominator.

    Le me rephrase your question:

"Guys I am fluent in Russian and Perssian, I have a neighbor that speaks Spanish, Why can't I understand him if from time to time we say hi to each other?"
