I think there is no certain time to get high ranking without making any backlink if your website is new and don't generating traffic....It is good fact that if you are taking seo services so why you are not creating link building for your website?

I don’t know how you can rank without backlinks and social marketing or any other marketing especially when competition is really high. If it is traffic that you are talking about – that’s a different story.

I think and logically it should possible. Google algorithm cares about website backlinks too much, because if website is relevant to keyword and in general it is good website, other people would suggest it to friends or readers so website would gain some backlinks. So when website does have many backlinks, google perceives it as a reliable site so ranks on high positions. This is my idea, but maybe visitors are satisfied, but do not have opportunity or maybe do not want to share with friends ? does that mean that no backlinks = no ranking ? Sorry for bad English hope you understand my idea

I guess it's possible and with WHS your rankings should be more stable. But the thing is that most people use the BHS one way or another (and your direct competitors also). So...

It is possible for sites that have less competition but back links are very necessary for good ranking on some keywords. Social networking generally enhance ranking when more visitors open the site otherwise back links support its ranking. The keywords with low competition could get ranking through social networking but high competitive keywords do not ranked through the social activity they are ranked through link building according to me.

Yes, it is possible to rank a website even without any backlink. But, this will require lots of efforts to properly optimize the website. Do strong On-Page optimization, use the proper combination of keyword and do proper buzz Marketing. You can even use social media platform to generate the brand awareness.
