1. What are the top 50-100 national directories for business listings? Any directories that have dofollow?

2. What are the top aggregators?

3. If I have a code such as this:

<!-- car engines -->

will google count "car engines" as a keyword in the website or wll it ignore it?

4. I can hit Ctrl+F on my website and find a specific keyword. My website will show my keyword popping up 21 times. SEO Quake will find it 32 times. Why is there a difference? How does SEO Quake find my keyword?

    That's a HTML code comment. It's supposed to be something that's not used, and Google is known to disregard text that's hidden in other means too. Even if they do that's got to be one of the least efficient way to include a keyword.

    You're looking the rendered document with a browser, but SEO Quake is probably looking at your HTML source. A simple example: you don't get the <title> tag in your count, SEO Quake does.
    Signature
    Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
    Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
