Does the SEO value of a page vary with the page's location in the site url structure?

For example does page-1 have any more SEO value in (1) domain..com/page-1, (2) domain..com/category/page-1, or (3) domain..com/category/subject/page-1?

If page-1 has more SEO value in domain..com/page-1, does it make a difference that page-1 is not linked to from the home page, but is linked to from either the category page or the subject page in the above example?

I am looking at SEO value as both (a) the page being liked more by G, and (b) passing more link juice to pages it links to.

Thanks!

Well structured URL hierarchy can be very helpful for SEO. Google looks up & down a URL for relevancy.

Well structured URLs can also help for boosting SERP CTR with Mega Sitelinks & regular Sitelinks for longtail keywords.

I agree that well structured URL can be very helpful. In my example, assuming all pages are relevant to each other, does page-1 have any more SEO value in (1) domain..com/page-1, (2) domain..com/category/page-1, or (3) domain..com/category/subject/page-1? In other words, does it make any difference where page-1 is in the URL? Do page links at the beginning of a URL have more value that page links at the end of a URL?

What are Mega Sitelinks & regular Sitelinks?

      Thanks!

Url structure is crucial in terms of Google determining the relevancy of the kw to your page. If possible try to have it ie kw in your url structure.
