Article Marketing & Google Duplicate Content - HELP!!!!

Can anyone please clarify the following situation, if you submit article A to 200 article directories is this classed as Duplicate Content in Googles eyes? If so, what is the best way for distributing articles?

I was under the impression that submitting article A to 200 direcotries was OK, but if you submitted it twice to each directory that was dup. content? As it is on the same website twice - is this right?

Every were I have looked, I cannot get a straight answer.

By the way,t hese articles are unique and copyscaped.

    • First off, you will not be able to post the same article twice to the same directory; they will not allow it and there is no benefit to this.

      It is duplicate content, however there will be one version that will be logged as the original piece and that will be ranked in Google.

      The benefit predomiantly of submitting an article to 200 directories is for exposure if it is a very good article and you want some descent referrals. The link power perhaps will not be counted on too many of them.

      I submit 1 article a week each week and submit it to 5 of the top article submission sites. It works very well.

  • Submitting one and the same article to 200 directories is dupe content. Doesn't mean it does any harm though.

  • I agree with Allen. More than once on yours or anyone elses sites is duplicate.
    Same article appearing once on many sites is not.
