I test my website on many SEO testing websites and i always get this error.

Is that a big problem ?

IP Canonicalization Test:
Your site's IP 81.28.XXX.XXX does not redirect to your site's domain name. This could cause duplicate content problems if a search engine indexes your site under both its IP and domain name.

PS: IP was changed by me.

  • Why did you change the IP address?

The hosting company's IP address is what should be there. If you change that, you need to redirect it to the right domain.

  • Are you used a copy paste content to your site?
error may be occured by using copy paste content
  • i just changed the ip here on the forum. i never changed the real ip.

also i did not copypaste. one of my competitors copy pasted some text from my website.
  • is this maybe a server configuration error ?
  • That "warning" is just a bunch of BS. If your site is on a shared hosting server like most of the internet of course your IP address isn't going to redirect to your site address.

I've seen this one somewhere. Takes away from the credibility of the service to warn about such a ludicrous thing that only occurs on a very specific setup.
