Hi,

I submitted my website in Google analytics and getting traffic report. Everything is ok! but i am facing problem to track my contact form. My website's is a parallax website and i don't have a separate page as a contact us page but using a contact form in a section.

My question is, how i can get a tracking code or how i can track conversion of my website? Hope you guys understand my question and help me to fix this issue.

I don't know about you, but I feel like tracking a contact form is not the best way to track conversions.

You need to set the Goals & Funnels to track out your contact form. All this will done in the Google Analytics Account of your website.

  • Yes you can track contact by firing an event once a contact form is submitted. You have 2 options:

A- Add the javascript to your contact form that will fire the event
B- Use Google Tag Manager to create the event for you and attach a call to Google Analytics.

Option B is by far easier, unless your forms are in AJAX. In both case you need to create a goal related to the event you will create.

See this post for how to do option B http://www.simoahava.com/analytics/t...e-tag-manager/

    Happy tracking
