How to link my 2 websites

Hi,
I have one old website with PR3 and one new website, one month old. I want to link from the old website to the new one. What is the best way to do it?
How many links can I put there and should they link to homepage or to different pages?
The old website has 20 pages and it is 7 years old, there are only few outgoing links. The new website has 5 pages and is growing.
I dont want to use the old website anymore, only for the links to the new one.
What would you recommend me to do?
