Hi just a few quick questions..

The case:
Whats the best approach when it comes to off-page SEO?

Shall i first let them age for a few months see how they will do on natural ranking. Then try to build links later? Or shall i outsource my offpage SEO right at the start?

PS. all articles are indexed by google but with positions 50-60.

  • Strong on-page SEO can help your site to rank at a good position in Google.
  • How low competition are we talking? I've done very well ranking my fitness site on keywords with zero off-page optimization (no links or anything). However, it took around 60 days from posting for it to climb up the SERPs.

I also started at position 50 or 60, took a while to hit first page, and then slowly climbed up to first.

Mind you, I'm talking very little competition here. Either way, so long as on-page is done right, I'd focus on other things for a while and see if they climb on their own. If not, throw a couple quality links at them.

    • Well it is hard to say how low. I find my keywords with Long Tail Pro with MOZ integration. I also double check them on keyword inspector. If both say its "very easy" or "easy" i go for it, else i don't.
I also manually check if the top 10 results have the KW intitle and inurl. I usually go for some more hidden niches or deep sub-niches where the competition is usually low.
