Facebook Fan Page Not Showing up in Google Search Results

  • Could be a morphing of what facebook is doing.

    I have not heard anything in a while, but facebook was
    using bing, then stopped. Apparently they want their
    own search and they don't don't want users to search the
    web. Just facebook results.

    I don't think facebook gives a rat's behind if anything shows
    in google.

    Just out of experience, I have seen quite a few facebook pages
    move in and out and in...

    The error page could be due to a number of things, from
    crawling problems to settings on FB, and everything in
    between.

    • Not sure if it was a coincidence but right after I promoted a post on my FB Fanpage for $5. the correct and working link to my FB page now shows up again on page 1 of Google.

    Facebook Fan Page Not Showing up in Google Search Results

    I have a Facebook fan page that usually shows up at No. 2 or 3 on Google for my keywords which words match the name of my Fan Page and thus gives me lots of traffic. Today I noticed that the only link to my fanpage that is showing up is a link to the Facebook Wall of the FanPage and if you click it the visitor gets an error message that says "Sorry this Page is Not Available" and then refers to a possible broken link.
