Best site map / SEO to optimise 45 contributors at once?

Hi, I have taken on the role of digital marketing consultant for a community radio station on a volunteer basis.

I am building them a new website from scratch with WordPress, X theme and a bunch of plugins. They have a low power transmitter on FM at the moment, and the podcasts.

There are 45 presenters each week! That is a huge amount of content.

Each contributor will have at least one piece of content each week, either a 60 minute or 120 minute podcast, and then a written description of a couple of hundred words about that show. They may also choose to create blog posts.

Luckily we have acquired free community access to a powerful podcast platform which professional radio stations use, so they have nice embedded player similar to SoundCloud, and they will host all the audio content: https://www.omnystudio.com/learn

They have a really great platform and the fact I can use it for free is pretty special: Listen to channels & stations - Omny personal radio

Can someone give me a a direction I should go in trying to format all this content in terms of URLs and what is best for SEO. I was even considering getting the top few shows transcribed.

My previous thinking was that it would just be domain.com/Podcasts/Presenter and have one page which has the embedded playlist and a Muut forum (cool forum plugin for WordPress)

However now I am thinking maybe it is better to have seperate pages for each weekly podcast like domain.com/podcasts/presenter/There-is-something-else-about-mary-November-3rd-2015

what do you think?

I'd leave the presenter out of the URL. It's unnecessary for most purposes. Create presenter archives elsewhere, or just use WordPress' build-in author archives.

Most XML site map plugins should be able to use custom post types just fine. Yoast SEO has no problems with it, for example.
    Signature
Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
