SEO Question about article marketing

hey guys,

I have a question about article marketing. Basically can I submit the same article to 150 article sites without getting slapped? I have a pretty good article submitter. Also my backlink is to an ezine article which is on the same subject with the same keywords just a different article.

thanks everyone,
Nick

    Nicholas,

You won't be "slapped" for doing what you are suggesting...at least not at this point in time. You should be fine.

Any reason you are not linking to your own site as well? May as well get some of that backlinking to your own site too.

    Just a suggestion.

There is no "slap" involved if you do this. People distribute their articles all over for the backlinks and exposure. Many have been doing this for years and years, so don't worry about it.

However you get them, backlinks to your articles at EZA are a good idea. You're combining EZA's power as an authority site with backlinks. Unless you've chosen your keywords poorly, you should dominate the rankings eventually.

I was actually wondering the same sort of thing, thanks for the info Allen.

I hope this thread doesn't go crazy like the other one on article marketing.

LOL - it very well might.

As long as everyone agrees that there is no dup content penalty (because Google says there's not) then it should stay within the realms of a peacful thread.

You won't be slapped, it just won't be as effective as distributing unique articles.

I think you should be pointing all those links to your own site rather than ezinearticles.

I've used this method and never get slapped! However, when you distribute too many same articles, the backlinks power tends to dropped to 1 or 2 links' power...

If you can spin it a bit while distributing, the link juice is better. The more unique your article, the better.

I personally like to use linkwheel instead of this method!

Allen, why would you give advice like that?

What about the dupe content penalty?

If you are going to submit the same article to that many directories you have to spin the article. That's why Unique Article Wizard is so good.

There are quite a few good spinners available for free - check them out and use a new version for every 20-25 directories.

You will be penalized if you blast the same article everywhere, but only in the sense that you won't get the 150 links that you think you will get.
