    Wordpress.com has Limited template and its customization is very difficult for the new Otherwise blogspot is very easy to customize and there are free many template can be used. The most facility is easy adsence income on blogger blog

    Finally I suggest blogger subdomain in this issue.

    You're confused.

    Google ranks pages/URLs, not sub-domains.

      Both have same strategies as my experience use Worpdress because there you have your personal control on all things you have to use .

      As my experience there are two ways to start your keyword ranking plan.

      First use keyword on your WP url , Then again use your keywords on blogspot URl's its will be rank soon

    blogger is very best tool for blogging it is very easy
    i think for seo, blogger is good because blogger is the tool of google, but it has be limited functions and wordpress is open source platform but it is premium platform so, my favourite platform is blogger

    If you want to promote your blog, blogger will be the best one as its google tool. But in case you are looking to promote your website and using blogger or wordpress for off page optimization use both of them. Keep in mind your content must be fresh and appropriate for your target audience.

      Blogspot comes SEO'd out the box, exactly how google wants it to be.

      You can do anything and everything, no plugins needed.

      I have no idea why anyone would choose wordpress first.
      Wordpress has it's place, but that place is second.

      WP is not even a very good CMS.

      The question is similar about youtube. Which site would you
      use to upload videos? Others have their place, but man,
      youtube MUST be at the top of your list.

        Apples to oranges. You should not compare Blogger to WordPress.org because they're not in the same category. But even if you do WordPress tends to be ok for SEO even without any plugins.

    blogspot is owned by google, wordpress has a great SEO benefit. You can go with them both without turning down one of them

    You can go ahead with both platform WordPress and Blogger, but it seems that wordpress have more users than that of wordpress. Both platforms have their own advantages and functionality.

      Blogger is 16 years old. Unfortunately Google is not giving statistics on the number of blogs, but you can assume that the numbers are off the chart.

      WordPress.com had 56 million individual blogs in 2012 according to Wikipedia. However, they gained 18 million more just in 2014.

      So you know, whichever platform you choose you're not alone.

      Please don't confuse WordPress.org the CMS with WordPress.com the hosted platform. If you just count WordPress usage both the CMS and the service are probably in those numbers, so they're a bit misleading.

    Both platforms have their unique qualities. From my point of view both are good for blogging. I am using both and regularly post in both platforms.

    Blogger is better plus offers more freedom. Last time I checked wordpress.com didn't allow monetization unlike blogger.
