Hi,

I am new to Warrior Forum and SEO and have a question right away.

Are there SEO/Keyword tools out there that let you explore the most recent keywords people are looking for? I am thinking of search terms that appear in Google Autocomplete for the first time, like the name of brand new product?

Thanks and cheers!

excellent question I would be interested in knowing the answer as well.

My guess is that the answer is that the latest popular keywords are found on Google Trends.

    Thanks TrafficFlow.

The problem with Google Trends is that it only features very popular search terms with recent changes in traffic. You will hardly find any niche terms or keywords that just started off from zero.

As no such keyword tools seem to exist, I decided to create one myself. The website is called KWAlert.net and keeps you informed about the latest search suggestions.

Just type in one or more keywords and get notified by mail when new suggestions arrive for your keyword. You then have to follow the link to view the results page where you will see a steadily growing list of suggestions, sorted by date or by alphabet. Each suggestion comes with a direct link to Google Trends.

Occasionally, you will receive a mail asking you to renew your request in order to keep it alive. This happens when no new results are found over a longer period and is a measure to lessen the load on our database.

The website is still in beta stage and may cause some issues. Please check your spam folder if you don't receive any mails.

I would appreciate any kind of feedback!

There is apparently no direct way of gathering the newest keyword suggestions from Google's database nor can you get the date of when a term was added.

The tool I designed actually tries no replicate that missing function on the long run for any given keyword by creating a master list of the suggestions that appear for that keyword over time. The longer you use the tool, the more search results it will collect, since Google tends to reorganize its suggestions on a daily basis. The mere fact that a suggestion pops up today that wasn't suggested yesterday doesn't necessarily mean that the term is new in the sense that it hasn't been searched for up until recently. It may well be that some other factors made Google think it was a good idea to show this keyword now.

But eventually, by scraping the suggestions again and again, you will end up having crawled most of Google's existing database for that keyword. Therefore, the longer the tool is in use, the higher will be the chances that a new keyword suggestion means really new. That's the idea behind the platform. It's yet to be seen how it works out in practice.
