Do I have to build backlinks for mobile subdomain in order to rank in mobile SERP's?

If I build backlinks for ''DomainName.com'', do i have to build separate backlinks for ''m.DomainName.com'', since the latter shows in mobile SERP's?

I mean...it is a different URL, so shouldn't backlinks be built for both URL's separately?

    No. you don't have to do that. Instead you will simply optimize your mywebsite.com to mobile friendly site. so when person who are using mobile to visit your website, it will be compatible and easy to access with mobile users

      if I use a service like GoMobi for a client and MUST use a subdomain ''m.website.com'', does that subdomain starts with PageAuthority 0/100 ?
      And in that case, do I have to build backlinks specially for that page/subdomain ?
