Help For Site With Low Traffic

Hi guys, I have 2 sites.. And I've been trying to post quite a fair bit of original content. But the traffic doesn't seem to be picking up. I think I've already got quite a decent amount of blog post (original ones, or copyscape passed), and some long tail keyword titles.

But traffic still is very low. Like 5 visits a day.

I'm trying to increase the organic traffic that comes in via searches. Can someone advice me what I'm doing wrong?

    if your sites about subjects Joe Public care, then be patient and wait

    Have some high pr backlinks from different websites! (Guest Posts and other means)
    join your keyword related communities/forums to spread the news about your content
    submit site to high pr directories
    and keep posting on regular basis
