How much would you charge your client for 500 webpages? It has to be WordPress and I will have to build some include files(nothing big, simple content). The website itself is very simple, almost every page has its own unique content, not much content, but still... very informational.
The only one thing I am in lost is 500 pages It is just time consulting....I am not new in building site, but I am new in 500pages

Can someone advice me how to estimate this much load?

Please help!!!

If it's 500 original pages it's going to take you forever, lol.

What's the client budget? Did you ask?

Some folks aren't realistic for price, competition, etc...

    Talk to the client.

At just $20 per page, that is $10,000. If you are responsible for all of the content or hiring writers for the content, I would probably be looking at something around $15,000 as a minimum.

You could use freelancing sites and hire some VAs from the Philippines to do it for about $2-3 per page. You get what you pay for to be clear about this.

Textbroker.com has a feature where you could actually upload the entire job to the site in a single spreadsheet. You can check their rates on the site.

For native English speakers, I suggest paying a minimum of 2$ per 100 words. Even at that rate writers don't usually stick around for long, or they will only take those jobs when there is nothing better to do. Or if they're knowledgeable about the topic and can poop it out in 15 minutes.

Okay, that is completely different. You are not building a 500-page website. All you are really doing is building a template to house existing content.

If you are just copying and pasting the content or importing it and do not need to edit it, The pricing really should not be much different than if you were creating a 10-page website for someone.

Start a free course on English writing, get 25 students, have them sign a contract, have them each write 20 articles, when they get to the end up the course give them a certificate of completion. Boom 500 articles under 20 bucks.

Well based on client budget. You need some good writers also. I think it will be around 7000 to 9000$ based on domain authority or more then it.

I dunno.... 7-9k seems high. Hell i could do it for less then that by myself. It would take around a week but it can be done. Imagine if you had a writing team behind you? Would take no time at all.

And what kind of writing team is going to create 500 pages of decent content and still leave room for you to make any money on this? That's not even including any kind of graphic design costs, coding, etc.

If it is 500 pages of mostly shitty gibberish, yeah you could do that. But even at a price of around $7k, I don't think they are looking for shitty gibberish.

I posted a reply asking about the gig, but you managed to post just before I got to it. So it's not content production, but import / copypaste job. Or did I get it right? If you need to edit the content at all it's a totally different game.

Is their HTML structure consistent across the documents? If yes, I'd suggest trying something like HTML Import from WordPress repository. Whenever I've used that some changes and adjustments were needed along with some practice runs, but it imports the bulk the old site just fine. If this works you do not need to take that many minutes of manual work per page or article. If it does not work - well, you just have to hire someone and estimate how long it takes for them to copy an article. Been there, done that.
