Help on targetted keyword and anchor tex

My targetted keyword is tamil funny jokes.
I heard that if I use same anchor text, I dont get the expected results.

some suggested, instead tamil funny jokes, use top tamil funny jokes or best tamil funny jokes.If I use top/best, my keyword become top tamil funny jokes. Please advise me on this confusion.

    You just need different variations of the keyword. plus brand and naked URLs

    Well, what are the expected results?

    There should be no confusion. You can use Tamil funny jokes as anchor text. But think things through. You're creating backlinks but want Google to think random people created them.

    With random people, a few might use Tamil funny jokes, a few might use best tamil funny jokes... Most would use something else... either the url, click here, wanna read a funny joke, and who knows how many other ways, some including Tamil funny jokes, some including funny jokes some only jokes.

    By the way... if it ain't funny, it ain't a joke.

    So, mix and match, and use the url a lot.

      Actually sir, its the same keyword , my site ranked No.1 in google india, after some time, I updated the forum software as well as I updated the meta description, I thought, it will not effect any keywords on the site, then onwords, the keyword was moving 4th position, 8th, then 14th, now no-where in google, its completely collapsed. The only two things I remember are
      1. I updated the forum software, as they release.
      2. I added meta description, I strongly believe a d d i n g meta description, entirly ruin the keyword ranking. now the keyword is not pointing to my site. Don't know. I should have not added the meta description at all(before that, with no meta desc and with no-SEO, the keyword is atleast in first page, when I sarted updating software, becuare the old one is not compatible with the mobile devices.) I removed the meta desc now, but google is not giving the chance to my site.
      But I learned one thing, if a keyword is ranked without your intension, we should not update the anything on the site, even titles, don;t delete anything, meta description update. )
      The same URL was genereted 14000 visitors previsoulsy, now only its 200 to 300 visitors per day.
      Any how I did a big, big big mistake.

      This is my experience, anyone wants to help me or make the site as previously, please reply here or send me the PM, even I wanted to recruit SEO professional but not finding the good one.

    The best thing for you is finding a good number of keywords that your website touches on. It is always advisable that you have a few keywords and not just sticking on a single key word. I can say that you can use the both names so that you bring a variation in usage. One thing you need to know that people do search for things using different mention of the same word. You therefore need to consider this variations when coming up with such like keywords. be flexible with the keywords.
