Very weird problem with ranking my site in other countries search

Hello guys. I've been doing some SEO on a site of mine and I recently noticed something very weird.

I got ranked very nicely on all keywords I wanted for google.com , but when I search the exact keywords for other countries, lets say google.fr or google.de, my site isn't being shown at all for none of the keywords that are ranked very well on google.com, not even on page 8 or 10. It's like my site doesn't exist at all on any other search engine except google.com.

I know that google.com is the main one, but visitors from Europe and Asia are also very good for my business.
BTW, all the content on my website is in English.

What might cause this problem?
Thanks in advance!

You're trying to rank with English content in countries that have their own languages. Not only that, but there's people in both France and Germany who don't even speak English.

Is your product something that's not unique to your company? If yes, it would be logical to expect local competitors to outrank you easily.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Hi Nettiapina, thanks for your answer, the thing is that my service is very unique and whoever is searching for that, will have to do the search with English words. Be it on google.fr or google.de, everyone should see my website before any other local businesses, simply because my service is being offered only by me.

So how come that on google.com I'm on page 1, and in other countries (.de, .uk, .fr) I'm not even ranked at all for the very same keywords?

Because Google thinks your web pages are relevant to the search terms and Google.fr does not.

But what is the reason of google.uk to think differently than google.com?
I never targeted any specific countries, my pages are all written in English, what could be the difference between .com and .uk?

Once upon a time, I had a site on remortgages. I had a dozen keywords in the top 4 positions, in the US, but most of the searchers are in UK.

So, one day, I went to Google webmaster tools and tol' it I want to play in the UK pool. Within the week, all my page 1 keywords were on page 3 to 1 in the US; but I had 4 in the top 3 positions in the UK.

My income from the site more than doubled. Unfortunately, the double of a small amount is not a big amount.

But, the point is, by default, Google assumes you're playing in the country where you're hosting.

Also, it picks up on language patterns... Not a linguist, so can't really give good examples, but if Google sees a lot of things like, I bloody told him... it will assume a UK audience is the target...

Similarly, if you mention the Mgnificent Mile shops, it will assume Chicago, US is important.

You mention Louvre and a couple of stores next to it, it will Assume Paris.
