I've started to employ RSS on my site and before I start submitting and mashing I need to have a couple things cleared up: I've just read on an expert report that if you have your RSS feeds submitted to feed aggregators it gets updated automatically every time you add new content.
Correct RSS format?

I've just read on an expert report that if you have your RSS feeds submitted to feed aggregators it gets updated automatically every time you add new content.
How can this be? I've been told by another expert that (on a feed for a static site) I need to update my RSS feed manually every time I add a new page or new content. Does it mean that I don't need to resubmit to the feed aggregators. This part puzzles me.
Another confusing thing is the page format. This is my RSS page:
I had it checked and confirmed by someone but a WSO from a major "guru" says the RSS feed must have an rss file extension, like this:
http://www.control-your-blood-pressure.com/xml.rss
Is this just an error on the guru's part?
