Need Help with my SEO for a Google News Site

I am new to this forum and looking for at least some advice.

I spent some decent money on a site already indexed in Google News. The site was generating traffic from the previous seller but appears to have dipped off.

I am trying to find ways to write the best content and generate traffic through ads. I have been writing articles for a few weeks now and don't appear to receive any considerable traffic.

Any thoughts on how I can improve my Google News site? Also, does writing daily (volume) significantly increase credibility with Google News?

The site is Echo Examiner - News Outlet.

    Just writing good content alone wont help you need to promote that content by properly optimizing the SEO on the articles and also by sharing them on social media.

    First you need to focus on your Onpage SEO. I will recommend you to use "Moz SEO" Plugin which is really Good for onpage optimization. More importantly its using by some successful marketer and also available in WordPress Plugin directory.

    My suggest is you need to work first for you content optimize the j=keyword on proper place of content. you need to put your keyword on the title, inurl and need to research for the competitors for the keywords and chose a best keywords.

    Writing the best content would not be enough to gain traffic it will need strategic ways to improve its reach to target the audience by using different mediums. It will take time but in the progress you will earn reputation from your target users.

    As everyone says content is king but you also need to focus of other platforms as well such as

    1. PR Submission (Press Releases with a backlink to your site)
    2. Social Bookmarking with high PR
    3. Local listing in your particular country
    4. Niche Directory submissions
    5. Creating presentation based on your content with good images and uploading it to different platforms.

    This should help you get enough ranking for your keywords and traffic as well.

      Hey,

      I ran an analysis of your website and it got a score of 50/100.

      These are some of the first things I noticed:

      1) Your site has a meta title but it does not have a meta description.
      2) You only have H3 and H4 headings on your home page.
      3) There is no Facebook or Twitter account associated with your website.

      I suggest you use this free tool Online Business Machine and run the analysis yourself.

    Focus on guest blogging. Find websites relevant to your niche market.

    Of course Google is an awesome place to find guest post opportunities.

    Just type your keyword + “submit a guest post” or “accepting guest posts”

    Your main goal should be is finding blogs that have engaged readerships and go viral socially.

    If you find one or two blog every week that accept guest blogging and publish your article there, you may expect a healthy amount of interesting visitors coming to your website.

    Start writing on trending topics (google trends), you will get decent traffic. Title is the most effective part for traffic, So concentrate more on Title of the articles
