Buying high PR domains?

Hello guys, this is my first post on Warriorforum so, first of all, I wanna say good luck to everyone in their business.
I cannot find an answer on my question anywhere so that's why I'm here. There was only one opinion on expired/expiring domains with high PageRank; making backlink networks, building backlink networks, backlinks backlinks bla bla bla, yeah sure building backlinks are one of the most successful strategies to rank website higher but, I have an idea. What if I buy high PR domain and build blog on it? What then? Will my posts and pages rank higher?
Will it play well for my website?

  • You should not do anything based on PageRank. Google has not updated the PageRank Toolbar data (what we can see) for 2 years now. It is outdated. We no longer know what the PageRank is for any page on the internet. Only Google does.
