The precise workings of many Google algorithms, including Sitelinks, are kept secret to discourage people from manipulating the rankings, but we can still look at examples and try to understand where Sitelinks come from.

don't do it. its bad for you!

Lol at all the canned comments repeating what the last guy said, over and over...

Sitelinks are doable If you know how sitelinks are created in the first place.

There's 2 types of sitelinks you see on Google SERPs, the usual 3-5 hyperlinks below a SERP description & Mega sitelinks which is huge as far as SERP real estate.

Regular sitelinks can be created from on-page jump-links (ex: #my-jump-link) or regular internal links.

Mega sitelinks are created from overall site structure (ex: SEO silos) & also work for internal pages/URLs (ex: SEO silo parent page/s).

So yea, you can create sitelinks If you know what you're doing, just like anything else you see in the SERPs.

You can read more about sitelinks here https://support.google.com/webmaster...er/47334?hl=en
"At the moment, sitelinks are automated. We're always working to improve our sitelinks algorithms, and we may incorporate webmaster input in the future. There are best practices you can follow, however, to improve the quality of your sitelinks." You can just optimize your website by following google's guidelines.

Nothing wrong with the thread. All you have to do is ignore all the posts from India and the thread makes perfect sense.

      Nonsense.

Anything done on organic SERPs can be replicated. It's an algo. therefore it's a systematic way of doing things.

Site/page structure creates Google Sitelinks. End of story.
