Check multiple resources for analytics eg GA and gostats, use keyword rank tracker and include them in reports.

I always tell my affiliates to use more than one source of information when they want to have data about their traffic. I would recommend you use a combination of:

    - Google Analytics
    - SEMrush
    - Alexa

You will not find any single tool which will help you do all these tasks. I love Moz and its analytic. But if you need to create a professional looking report for your client, this tool is worst. SEMrush is good one. You can also try SeoPowerSuite, but they mostly operated through desktop application, which is another drow back. Because these days people love to go with cloud based solution.

So I will suggest you to use at least two tools and create your report manually by gathering data from them.

No offense, but that is an awful suggestion to use all three of those. If you are using Google Analytics, it is a waste of time to use the other two. Analytics gives you data about your actual traffic. The other two just make wild guesses about your traffic, especially Alexa.

To the OP, RankWatch will pretty much do everything you are looking to do.

I see, but if you need an analysis of your competition? Google Analytics can only show stats about your website. Here is where SEMrush and Alexa come in.

I would never, ever trust anything Alexa tells you. Complete waste of time. They basically roll some dice and say that is how much traffic a site gets.

SEMrush is a little better, but they are still guessing. They are guessing based on rankings of keywords, but they have no way of knowing every keyword a site is ranking for and they are not checking the rankings daily.

It is still an inaccurate guess though.

You`re right, but unless we have access to the competition`s Google account, these tools are all we have.

That is not what the OP was asking about though, and your first post said nothing about other sites.

Right now I use Google Webmaster tools and the free version of Web CEO.

Also I can highly recommend Micro Niche Finder.

But mostly for me is still good old Google AdWords keyword tool.

None of those "tools" matter. What is the point of SEO?
To make cashola. Show me the money. How much does
the site pull in? Nothing else matters unless you want it
            for abusing purposes.

Sure you can talk potential. But even that's iffy. I don't care
if the site has 2 links or 200. 2 visitors or 2,000. If it makes $2
or $2,000, well that's what I want to know.

The more useless the crap is, the more people scream how
            useful it is. Go figure.

The proof of the seo is what visitors do when they are there.

Okay, a lot of you will say I am mixing things up. Nope.
Useless traffic or useful traffic? Ah, there's the rub.

I like SEO PowerSuite, it is great for tracking the progress over time and seems to cover all the things you point out. The reporting can also be automated, which is a time-saver, the clients also love it as the reports are really comprehensible.

Does SEO Powersuite present the details of a website's progress in a similar manner to that of Google analytics?

Well it shows the overall progress in a similar way. For keywords, for instance, it shows SE`s progress graphs, overall visibility graph, the difference with the previous rank, etc.; for backlinks it also shows a progress graph to spot any spikes or increase. The programs have the common domain strength module, not something to make ground conclusions of, but handy to track the 'growth' of the website over time.
