Theoretically it will help you increase your traffic to your website. But be careful that you place in the links that are pointing to your web the attribute rel="canonical" so that your website will not be penalized for duplicated content.
If you don`t use this attribute don`t let duplicate content roam the internet. Maybe you will see an increase in traffic in the short run, but eventually Google will penalize you.

Article submission is only helpful if we are submitting unique content on high quality article site. So it is one of the best way to increase traffic on your website.

I find that article submission is no longer working for SEO. It is far better to do guest blog posting on other blogs for traffic and SEO. You can also submit articles to ezine articles but not only for SEO.
