Hi guys,

I am trying to understand something. When you post an article from ezine and from other article directories pointing to your website does every article count as 1 backlink on your website? Will google count 100 articles from the same directory(same IP address) as 100 backlinks on your site??

I see some websites say with 200 backlinks ++ and I am wondering how this can be done on top of SEO services of course?

Thanks if you can help.

From my sites & experience, Yes, each article counts as a backlink. What always matters though is the quality of the site that is linking to you.

You're on the right track in that thinking. When you get more links across ezinearticles I think that's only because your article is good enough to be placed in so many different places (or I think it could be the category selection thing)

Not only are you right on that one but if you continue down that path of thinking you will discover lots more about how different Web 2.0 properties work in Google.

I reckon you should do some power searching to get an understanding of Google and how it works.

Be very careful with Article writing as your SEO source.

You need to take a Macro approach to generating Traffic. You must have many different ways to drive traffic to your site. Article writing is just ONE Of many.

          Good Luck
