Manually Reaching Out To Aquire Backlinks

Has anyone here successfully reached out to another website owner with the intent to gain a backlink? If so, could you provide me some tips on how to successfully convince them to link to a page on my website? The page has great content and is very resourceful to readers within my niche.

Thank you for any advice and direction,
Minty

  • Hey,

It's great to ask this question, but my advice to you, you should just get started. You'll know their reaction when you reach out to them.

Neil patel can show you how to do it
The Link Builder’s Guide to Email Outreach

It's just a simple email, and you can do it in your spare time. Anyway just send it, do it like the guide above, see your result.

    Hope that helps.
  • Thanks for your reply, I've been doing this and am about sixty emails in, no responses. So I figured id ask for some advice here, great link thank you.

    • If you are doing it by email, you are likely never going to get a response.

If there is a Facebook or Twitter account, try getting in touch with them through there. If there is a phone number listed, pick up the phone and call them.

Email is the least effective way to get links.

  • I would say t just message the site's admin and tell them about your content. Just make sure your content is of very high quality.

But, you know, I would not bother so much about "getting backlinks". I would worry more about building up traffic!!

Do this to gain traffic, not backlinks. If your content is good enough, the rest will take care of itself!

  • Alright here is some feedback. One of the more valuable websites I had been contacting through email, I found the webmaster on Facebook using Whois and contacted them via chat. I gave the whole spill about why my resource would benefit their readers. He didnt even hesitate, he linked to my website from a page that holds a PA of 52 and a DA of 67. Sheeze, No idea why I never thought of finding them this way. The link he placed is a naked URL but still im sure ittl pass some juice.

Thanks guys for some of these tips, really!
