You may want to try ad swap. Find another site owner that runs a similar niche as yours and propose to do mentions of each other on social media, shout-out placements on each other's site, etc, with due research on this guy beforehand if possible, then you'll know if he has a good standing in the market for exposure.

You can google for ad swap partners or find them in forums like this one.

You'll never know how much more traffic your site can gain from his mentions and vice versa. This is a win-win for both parties at no cost
