      I created a video for my niche (High quality) and its now number three for my said keyword which gets about 12,600 exact searches per month. That video drives a good quality traffic to my website. Using the video description on Youtube I get about 25 visitors to my website HOWEVER out of the 25 visitors about 20 of them convert. Youtube is an excellent way to get around the headache of ranking in Google.

    Start by looking at the website from the perspective of the user searching Google.Provide the highest quality, most relevant search results possible by using fresh and quality content. It would be better if your website has fewer pages with high quality content then lots of low quality content. Analyze your website from user's point of you, rather than vendor's point of you.

    It is better optimize your content. Because content is the king. So try to post unique content. Also try to get more guest post and google plus share, twitter share, facebook share, I mean social media share. Hope it will work

    if you are doing seo for local business then you must have to optimize on-page really very well. add your business in google and bing business solution. do some other citation.

    if you are doing seo for something else then you need high quality unique content.

    Guys, I'm not asking how to rank a website, but how to rank a post/page of your website? Why my competitors shoot up the ranking the second day they publish their post, they jump somewhere on page 2 or 3, me on the other hand, I surface somewhere on page 7. Got a page rank 3, some of my post hold #1 position for pretty competitive keywords, its just odd that new post dont rank that well.
