As subject line really.

I have a 300+ page website. According to Google's webmaster tools there are four pages that are in my sitemap but aren't in Google's index. Is there a tool (paid or free) than can compare the two (sitemap and Google's index) so I can identify which of these pages are being excluded? Hopefully then I can work out why, learn from it and rectify it. I know I can search Google's cache manually for each page url but with 300+ pages that is going to take some serious time.

Hope you guys can point me in the direction of a tool that can pinpoint the pages for me.

    Did you check to see If the pages are buried in Supplemental SERPs?

    Go to the bottom of the last page while doing a site:domain.com search & see If there's a link pointing to additional pages that are indexed on the SERPs but Google says they're very similar to pages already showing in regular SERPs.

    Example:

    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[10468447].message }}

      Thanks for the reply Yukon, when I do a site:domain.com search it says "About 714 results" ?! There is no mention of any supplemental serp pages at the bottom.
