Doesn't matter, DA/PA don't rank pages. Focus on strong followed links (things that rank pages).

DA/PA don't rank pages, but they are a metric that strongly correlate with your rankings.

It's relatively easy to rank most keywords with only a handful of DA 30+ links.

However, those same keywords might require several dozen DA 10 links to rank just as high.

The way that you increase your DA and PA is to get sites with high DA and PA to link to you.

With that said, don't stress too much about the metrics. Focus on building a quality site and you'll get them naturally.

Well, its probably an expired/dropped domain that was re-regged than. PR hasn't been updated for like over 2 years but PA/DA has so if that's low and and PR is high it probably went dark for a while and then got picked back up.

Either way don't focus on metrics, that's not what G is looking at its just to give you an idea how you're doing. Build links and add content and you'll rank better.

Adding quality content and getting strong do follow links will improve everything including DA, PA, keywords ranking etc of your website

Domain authority is vital as far as having your internet searcher rankings. In the event that you have a Domain authority that is less, say 10-20 you wouldn't be positioning great for your engaged keywords. Similarly, having a superior DA score can do well on the off chance that you are searching for more power and you rank for more terms.

As DA and PA are NOT used by any search engine in their ranking algorithms care to explain WTF you are talking about?

2. Linking to your website from Facebook, or any other social network
Sure, a link from Facebook is a link from a site with a DA of 100, but the link is on a profile, which is one of billions of pages on Facebook. That profile has a very low Page Authority, so passes almost to value along to your domain.

DA and PA are Moz's metrics and they will update on every month.

So, to increase the DA and PA you should write quality content on your website and in parallel make some quality backlinks along with social signals.

Domain authority is essential in terms of having your search engine rankings. If you have a domain authority that is very less, say 10-20 you wouldn’t be ranking well for your focused keywords. In the same way having a better DA score can do well if you are looking for more authority and you rank for more terms. This indirectly means you get better monetization offers through paid posts.
