The best way to use bookmarking sites

Yesterday I checked backlinks in webmaster tools and I saw over 100 backlinks from one single bookmarking site where I have just posted once and only one link added. How is this possible? I can't understand it. Is it because at the time of posting I voted for almost 100s other posts there? If it is, then isn't it the best way to use bookmarking sites?

    Can you see the exact backlinks? That should tell you something. Maybe the site has the kind of structure that makes the link visible in multiple addresses. For example, set up your site link on WF and you'd have a link from every thread you comment on.

    Of course, the backlink is probably not going to help you.
